Its beans are primarily Forastero, known for their bold, robust flavor and consistency—ideal for large-scale chocolate production and blending. The country’s well-developed cocoa infrastructure, from extensive farming networks to modern processing facilities, supports high-volume exports with reliable quality. Government and cooperative programs increasingly emphasize sustainability, farmer training, and certification, positioning Ivorian cocoa as both a dependable and progressively responsible origin in the global market.
